To mark this auspicious occasion, we are holding a series of events to raise money for new glass doors for the church. A team from NADFAS, now known as The Arts Society, came together to record the interior and artefacts of our beautiful church.  The volumes of their findings will be presented to the church, the group will also talk about some of the treasures and the stories which came to light - and the mysteries still to be solved.  Come and join us for what promises to be a fascinating evening to show you St Lawrence Jewry through a magnifying glass, in amazing close-up. NADFAS – A treasure hunt in St Lawrence Jewry January 18th 2018 @ 6pm Tickets £10 includes a glass of wine and light refreshments. For more information please contact Katrina – 0207 600 9478 katrina@stlawrencejewry.org.uk At the reception afterwards, there will be an opportunity to admire the volumes and talk to the NADFAS team about their work. Although this is to Masters and Clerks, we would very much like you to extend it to your members. The outline plan would be to meet around 3.30pm in the afternoon (or as soon as members can make it) We can enter the Ferrari exhibition anytime up to 1700. It closes at 1800. As entry is timed it will help to have an indication of numbers and make the booking in one go – probably paying at the same time. Tickets are nominally £18 each but over 60s receive a concession and pay £13.50. Groups of 10 or more get a 10% discount i.e. £16.20. When I know the levels of interest I can possibly purchase group tickets or you may wish to buy on the day. The dinner is dependent but you can estimate around £50 per head. The Design Museum is at 224-238 Kensington High Street W8. Nearest underground will be Kensington High Street and Hammersmith. Both will be a bit of a walk or need a bus ride. Il Portico Restaurant has been booked (at 277 Ken High Street) – just over the road. Booking is at 1830   Please let me know your interest in the above and potentially if you would like bring a spouse or guest?
